Payment Channels

  • Social Grant payments through Bank

The Banking Association of South Africa (BASA) has recently confirmed that the banks are prepared for the SRD grant payment cycle. The agency will reload the ATMs for the payment cycle, which will initiate on 30th March.

  • Social Grant payments through retail outlets

The retail outlets have also been restocked and have confirmed that they are prepared for the payment cycle. The agency has collected a list of high-volume retail outlets to proceed with payment distribution.

COVID-19 Protocols at cash pay points

At each cash pay point, SASSA has planned to appoint at least one manager.
